We aborted our stay in San Juan del Sur to go to Playa el Coco , 20kms from there still on the Pacific Coast.
There is only one hostel there so at night it's really quiet and the main activity is to enjoy the beach and look for turtles coming to lay their eggs here or at Playa Del flor another beach close by. Unfortunately it was not the season for us so we didn't see any.
However we treated ourselves to an amazing dinner : whole snapper with lemon sauce! One of the best meal since we left!
One day relaxing and enjoying life, taking outdoor shower in the middle of the insects and with the moonlight ! Man it's noisy sleeping on the beach because of the powerful waves, I had to put my earplugs ;)
